Frequently Asked Questions

We understand you may have questions. Please watch the video from the Greater National Advocates NOW organization, which may answer many questions you have about Independent Patient Advocates.

What can a Board Certified Patient Advocate do for me and why should I hire a BCPA?

A Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) can navigate your healthcare needs and empower your decision-making. The healthcare system is complex, and a BCPA can ensure that healthcare professionals prioritize your health and well-being.

Board certification ensures they have the knowledge and skill set required to help clients with any healthcare concern.   Certification also requires continuing education credits to remain certified. A BCPA works directly for you and not for the hospital or insurance company.
